United India Launches top up health Policies

United India has been selected by the Government of India to implement the group health Insurance for Tsunami affected population of the states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala & Andhra Pradesh. Under this scheme we have covered 3.40 lakh families for cashless facility. The premium is fully met by Central Government. United India also has been selected to implement the prestigious Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana in the two pilot districts of Uttranchal & Tamil Nadu and also in all districts of Kerala. This is the biggest such project taken up by any non life insurer in India. United India is launching the "Top Up" Medical Insurance Policies providing additional hospitalization cover for limits presently unavailable in Indian Insurance Market.
